Family Command Center | Ikea Kallax

We love our Ikea Expedit!  It's been our organizational haven and overall family command center for the last four years.  It's the ikea hack I get asked most about and when the Expedit was recently discontinued many of you asked how to still recreate it.
Luckily, Ikea came up with a pretty-close-to-identical replacement, the Kallax in white.  Click images below for product sources and to see how we did the chalkboard, see our original post here!

    I love this! What do you put in all baskets and magazine files?

    Hi Christy! I'm an old school hard copy lover, so the files hold magazines and important files and documents. The baskets hold a number of things...crafts, photos, phone chargers, sunglasses, umbrellas. It's organized, but holds and hides a lot of random house hold items.

    Hello, love what you did with this shelf. Did you make the chalkboard? If so, what item (if from Ikea) did you get? LOVE IT! Very cute, appealing and useful!
